    From the city of Trieste, take the A4 highway towards Venice. After about 10 km, take the exit for Sgonico (Exit 3). Continue on SP1 (Strada Provinciale 1) for approximately 3 km until you see signs for Grotta Gigante. Follow the signs and turn onto Borgo Grotta Gigante. The entrance to the cave will be on your left at Borgo Grotta Gigante, 42 / A, 34010 Sgonico TS. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a small parking fee.

    From Trieste's main train station (Stazione di Trieste Centrale), take bus number 44 towards Sgonico. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Grotta Gigante' stop.
