Getting There

Walking
Start at Tartini Square, the main square in Piran. Head southeast towards the seafront, passing the Church of St. George on your left. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the pier. From there, turn right onto the main road, which is the Strma Ulica. Follow this road as it curves and turns into the road leading to Sečovlje. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Sečovlje/Sicciole Saltpans Nature Park on your left. The entrance to the park is at Parecag 290.

Public Transport
From the center of Piran, walk to the nearest bus station located near the Hotel Piran. Take the bus towards Portorož and make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the bus stop for Sečovlje. Once you get off the bus at Sečovlje, walk along the main road towards Parecag. The Sečovlje/Sicciole Saltpans Nature Park entrance is located at Parecag 290, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Piran. Start at Tartini Square and ride towards the seafront, following the waterfront path. Continue along the main road as it leads out of Piran towards Sečovlje. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes, and you will see signs directing you to the Sečovlje/Sicciole Saltpans Nature Park as you approach Parecag 290.
