From the main square in Piran (Tartini Square), head east towards the seafront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the waterfront. From there, follow the signs for buses that will take you to Motovun. The bus station is located near the Tartini Square. Make sure to check the bus schedules beforehand, as they may vary.

Once you arrive at the bus station near Tartini Square, look for the bus service heading to Motovun. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive in Motovun, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the town center, following the signs to the Town Gate, which is located at Ul. Joakima Rakovca 3.

After you arrive in Motovun, if you need further directions, ask locals for the 'Gradska Vrata' (Town Gate), as it is a well-known landmark.
