From the center of Portorož, head east towards the coast. Walk along the main promenade (Obala) that runs parallel to the sea. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the Portorož beach area. You will then enter Piran, a charming old town. Follow the signs that lead you to the historic center of Piran. Once in the city, navigate towards Prešernovo nabrežje. The Mermaid of Piran is located at Prešernovo nabrežje 20, which is near the waterfront and easily recognizable by its beautiful statue.

From Portorož, you can take a local bus towards Piran. Look for the bus stops along the main road. When on the bus, ensure you get off at the Piran bus station. Once you arrive at the bus station, exit and walk towards the coast. Head straight to the seaside promenade and then follow it until you reach the historic center of Piran. Look for Prešernovo nabrežje, and the Mermaid of Piran is located at number 20 along that street.
