From Posavje, head northwest towards the A1 highway. Merge onto A1 towards Ljubljana. Continue on A1 for approximately 40 km. Take exit 22-Ljubljana-Zahod towards Ljubljana-Center. Continue on the road until you reach the center of Ljubljana. Once in the city, follow signs for the city center and head towards Gruberjevo nabrežje. The Nutria Feeding grounds are located at Gruberjevo nabrežje 20, 1000 Ljubljana. Look for parking options nearby, as street parking may be limited.

From any location in Posavje, take a bus or train to Ljubljana. You can check the latest schedules on the Slovenian public transportation website. Once you arrive at Ljubljana's main bus or train station, exit towards the city center. From the station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a tram. If you choose to walk, head southeast on Trg Osvobodilne fronte, turn right onto Slovenska cesta, and continue straight until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river and follow Gruberjevo nabrežje until you reach the Nutria Feeding grounds at Gruberjevo nabrežje 20. Tram tickets cost around €1.20 each way.
