From Rogaška Slatina, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road. Look for bus line number 12 that goes to Krapina. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus, as the frequency may vary. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Krapina bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs directing you to the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head east on Ul. Dr. L. Ružića, then turn left onto Šetalište Vilibalda Sluge. The museum will be on your right.

First, walk to the Rogaška Slatina train station. From there, take a train to the nearest major station, which is in Zaprešić. Upon arrival at Zaprešić, transfer to a local bus that goes to Krapina. The bus ride from Zaprešić to Krapina should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Krapina bus station, follow the signs to the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Walk east on Ul. Dr. L. Ružića, then turn left onto Šetalište Vilibalda Sluge, and you will find the museum on your right.
