Walking
Start at the Sežana train station. Exit the station and head southwest on Ulica 1. Maja towards the main road (H4). After about 100 meters, turn left onto H4 and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to Dutovlje. Continue straight for approximately 4 kilometers, passing through the village of Sela. When you reach Dutovlje, follow the signs towards Vrhovlje. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Cisterna Carsica on your right. The entrance is located at Vrhovlje 13.

Public Transport
From the Sežana bus station, take a local bus towards Dutovlje. Buses are available roughly every hour. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Dutovlje stop. From the Dutovlje bus stop, walk towards the village center, and follow signs for Vrhovlje. It’s about a 1-kilometer walk, which should take around 15 minutes. Look for the sign indicating Cisterna Carsica on your right at Vrhovlje 13.
