From Škofja Loka, walk to the bus station located on Gregorčičeva ulica. Take the bus to Kobarid. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kobarid, exit the bus and walk towards the center of town. Follow signs for Lake Krn. The lake is approximately a 30-minute hike from the center of Kobarid, following the marked trails.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Škofja Loka. Start your ride heading towards the main road (H4) leading out of town. Follow the signs to Kobarid. The cycle route is scenic, and the ride will take you approximately 2 hours. When you reach Kobarid, follow the signs to Lake Krn, which is about a 30-minute hike from the town center.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Škofja Loka and make your way to the H4 road heading towards Kobarid. The walk will take several hours (approximately 6-7 hours), so ensure you are prepared with enough water and snacks. Follow the walking paths and stay on the marked trails towards Kobarid. Once in Kobarid, follow the signs for Lake Krn, which is about a 30-minute hike from the center.
