Getting There

Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, head towards the bus station located at Škofja Loka Avtobusna postaja. Once there, take bus number 6 towards Ljubljana. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the main bus station in Ljubljana (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana), exit the bus and head east on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Slovenska cesta. Turn left onto Slovenska cesta and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Trubarjeva cesta. Continue straight for another 500 meters, and then turn right onto Turjaška ulica. The National and University Library will be on your left at Turjaška ulica 1.

Bus
To reach the National and University Library from Škofja Loka, first make your way to the Škofja Loka bus station. Board the bus that goes to Ljubljana, which is bus number 6. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit and walk east towards the city center. Continue along Trg Osvobodilne Fronte until you reach Slovenska cesta. Turn left on Slovenska cesta and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Trubarjeva cesta and follow it until you reach Turjaška ulica. Turn right and the library will be on your left at Turjaška ulica 1.
