From the center of Škofja Loka, head northeast on the main street (Cankarjeva cesta) towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Krekov trg, and continue straight. Follow the signs for the bus station (Avtobusna postaja). From the bus station, take bus number 10 towards Ljubljana. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Ljubljana's main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). Exit the bus and walk towards the main entrance of the bus station. From there, walk straight onto Trg Osvobodilne Fronte and continue onto Parmova ul. The Railway Museum will be on your left side.

From Škofja Loka, head to the bus station (Avtobusna postaja) located near the city center. Board bus number 10 that is heading towards Ljubljana. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ljubljana's main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana), exit the bus and walk towards Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. Continue straight onto Parmova ul., and you will find the Railway Museum on your left.
