Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, head towards the main square (Glavni trg). Once you reach the square, look for the pedestrian street that leads towards the northwest, following signs towards the bus station. Continue straight until you reach the bus station. At the bus station, take the bus to Ljubljana. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ljubljana, disembark at the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From there, walk towards Šmartinska cesta. You can either walk or take a local bus heading towards the area. If you choose to walk, follow the signs for Šmartinska cesta or use a map app to guide you, as the park is located directly along this road.

While in Škofja Loka, first make your way to the main bus station. Take a local bus from the station that heads to Ljubljana. Upon arriving in Ljubljana, get off at the main bus station. After that, find the bus stop for local buses going towards the direction of Šmartinska cesta. Board the appropriate bus and ride until you reach the stop closest to Šmartinska cesta. Once you disembark, walk along Šmartinska cesta until you reach Sava Sentjakob park.
