Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Straza Hill, start from the center of Bled. Head southeast on Cesta svobode toward Kolodvorska cesta. Follow Kolodvorska cesta for about 1.5 km until you reach the parking area near the Straza Bled ski resort. Parking might incur a fee, so be prepared with some cash. From the parking area, follow the marked trail leading to the viewpoint at the top of Straza Hill. The hike takes approximately 30 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Straza Hill using public transportation, take a local bus from various points in Triglav National Park, making your way to Bled. The most convenient stop is at the Bled bus station. From the bus station, it’s a 15-minute walk along Cesta svobode until you reach Kolodvorska cesta. Continue on Kolodvorska cesta until you find the trailhead for Straza Hill. Buses typically run every hour, and you can check the local schedule for exact times. A bus ticket costs around €2.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bled and prefer to walk, start from the town center. Head southeast towards Cesta svobode and then turn onto Kolodvorska cesta. It’s a pleasant 20-30 minute walk from the town center to the base of Straza Hill. Follow the signs to the ski resort and the hiking trail leading to the top. This option is perfect for those who want to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
