Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Klagenfurt, take the A2 motorway towards Vienna. After about 60 km, take the exit at exit 1, towards Villach. Merge onto the A10 highway and continue for approximately 45 km. Take the exit towards Bled/Lesce (exit 6). Continue on the local roads to Lake Bled, which is about 5 km from the exit. Follow the signs for Lake Bled, and you will reach the parking area near the lake.

  • Public Transportation

    Start by taking a train from Klagenfurt to Jesenice. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Jesenice, transfer to a bus heading to Bled. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the main bus station in Bled, and from there, it's a short walk to Lake Bled. Just follow the signs towards the lake, and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

    From Villach, take the A2 motorway towards Slovenia. After about 30 km, cross the border into Slovenia and continue on the A2. Take exit 6 towards Bled/Lesce. Follow the signs for Bled, and after about 5 km, you will arrive at Lake Bled. There are various parking options available near the lake.
