Getting there

Bus

From Kranjska Gora, walk to the main bus station located near the center of town. Look for the bus heading to Bled; there are typically several departures throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bled bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs to Lake Bled, which is about a 20-minute walk. Head straight down Cesta svobode, which leads you directly to the lake. You will catch your first view of Lake Bled as you approach.

Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kranjska Gora. Start by heading down towards the main road, Route 201, and follow the signs toward Bled. The distance is about 21 kilometers and will take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your cycling speed. The route is scenic, passing through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Bled, follow the signs to the lake area where you will find various paths leading to the lakeshore.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can take a scenic route from Kranjska Gora to Bled. Start from the center of Kranjska Gora and head to the north along the marked hiking trails. The walk is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 5-6 hours. Follow the signs leading to 'Bled' and enjoy the beautiful nature along the way. Once you reach Bled, navigate towards Cesta svobode, which will lead you directly to Lake Bled.
