  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Honiara Central Market, exit the market and head southeast towards the main road, which is called Mendana Avenue. Turn left onto Mendana Avenue and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes on your right. Keep an eye out for the large roundabout ahead. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Dowling Street. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Solomon Islands Ports Authority on your left, just after the entrance to the Honiara Yacht Club.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Heritage Park Hotel, exit the hotel onto the main road, Dowling Street. Turn right and walk along Dowling Street for approximately 15 minutes. As you walk, you will pass by various local businesses and the Central Police Station. The Solomon Islands Ports Authority will be on your right-hand side, marked by its distinctive signage.

    From the Honiara Central Market, you can catch a local bus heading towards the east side of the city. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to Dowling Street. The fare is quite affordable. Once you reach the bus stop near the Honiara Yacht Club, disembark and walk about 5 minutes down Dowling Street. The Solomon Islands Ports Authority will be on your left.
