Start from the central area of Honiara, near the main market (Honiara Central Market). Head southeast along the main road, Mendana Avenue. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Honiara Botanical Gardens. Take a left at the intersection onto the road towards the gardens. Walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of the Honiara Botanical Gardens. From here, continue straight along the road that leads towards the coast. After about 500 meters, you will approach the Ngilikomba area. Keep an eye out for local signs or ask locals for directions to Taivu Point, which is located nearby at coordinates H8QX+WHH, Ngilikomba. The journey will offer scenic views along the coastline.

Begin your journey at the Honiara Central Market. Find a local bus heading towards Ngilikomba. Buses in Honiara generally operate along main routes, so ask the driver or locals if they can take you close to Taivu Point. Once you board the bus, travel for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near Ngilikomba, specifically at the stop for the Honiara Botanical Gardens. After getting off, walk towards the coast for around 500 meters, following local signs or asking for directions to Taivu Point at coordinates H8QX+WHH. Enjoy the scenic coastal views as you approach your destination.
