Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Tandai, as you will need to turn off onto a smaller road leading to the Mamara River Beaches. The final stretch involves navigating a dirt road, which may require a 4WD vehicle, especially after rain. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the beaches. Parking is available near the beach entrance.

From Auki, you can take a public bus heading towards Tanaghai. These buses typically leave from the main bus station in Auki. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Tandai. The journey should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive in Tandai, ask locals for directions to Mamara River Beaches; it is about a 5-kilometer walk or you may find a local willing to give you a ride on a motorcycle for a small fee (usually around 10-20 Solomon Islands dollars).
