    If you are traveling by car from Munda Dive Sites, first head east on the main road towards Munda Airport. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Honiara. Turn right onto the highway (Road 1) and continue for about 90 kilometers. As you enter Honiara, keep an eye out for Mendana Avenue. Turn left onto Mendana Avenue and continue for about 2 kilometers. The S.I. Visitors Bureau will be located on your right at HX93+PVX, just before the Honiara Hotel.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Munda to Honiara. Buses depart regularly from Munda and the fare is approximately 50 SBD. Inform the driver that you are heading to Honiara. Once you arrive at the bus station in Honiara, exit the bus and look for local taxis or you can walk. The S.I. Visitors Bureau is about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Head east along Mendana Avenue, and the bureau will be on your right at HX93+PVX.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Munda to Honiara. The taxi fare will be higher, typically around 400-600 SBD, depending on negotiations. The driver will take you directly to the S.I. Visitors Bureau located at HX93+PVX, Mendana Ave, Honiara. This is the most comfortable option, especially if you are traveling with luggage.
