Getting There

Look for a small road that branches off to the right with a sign indicating Edsons Ridge Monument. The road may be unpaved, so drive cautiously. After about 2 minutes on this road, you will arrive at Edsons Ridge Monument, which will be visible from the road.

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus or taxi from the main village in Nggela Islands. Buses typically run every hour; ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Edsons Ridge Monument. The fare is usually around 10-20 Solomon Islands dollars. Set out on the main road heading south, and after about 20 minutes of walking, take the left fork at the road. Continue walking for another 15 minutes until you reach the small road leading to the monument. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes, so be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
