Car

If traveling by car, take the N2 highway towards Cape Town. Once in Cape Town, follow signs for Table Mountain National Park. Platteklip Gorge is a popular hiking trail on Table Mountain and can be accessed from the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway parking lot.

Public Transportation

If using public transportation, take a bus or train to Cape Town. From there, you can take a taxi or Uber to Table Mountain National Park. Alternatively, you can take the MyCiTi bus to the Lower Tafelberg Road stop, which is close to the entrance of Platteklip Gorge.
