From Johannesburg, take the N1 highway towards Polokwane. Continue on the N1 until you reach the R33 exit towards Modimolle. Follow the R33 until you reach the town of Vaalwater. At Vaalwater, take the R516 towards Thabazimbi. After approximately 40km, you will see signs for Somabula Nature Reserve. Follow the signs to reach the reserve entrance.
