Walking
If you are in the Bloemfontein City Centre, start at the Bloemfontein City Hall. Head south on Charles Street towards the intersection with Aliwal Street. Turn right into Aliwal Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the N1 highway. Cross over the highway using the pedestrian bridge. Once you are on the other side, continue straight on the footpath that leads into The Kloof area. Follow the signs for Botaniese Tuine, which will be located within The Kloof park.
Public Transport - Minibus Taxi
From the Bloemfontein City Centre, walk to the nearest taxi rank (usually near the City Hall). Look for a minibus taxi heading to 'The Kloof' or 'Botaniese Tuine'. The taxi ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at The Kloof, you will need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Botaniese Tuine, following local signs.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in the city. Start from the Bloemfontein City Centre and head south on Charles Street.
