If you are driving from central Bushveld, take the N1 highway southbound. Continue on the N1 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the exit for Soweto. Follow the signs for Soweto, merging onto the R553. Continue on R553, which will eventually become Vilakazi Street. Mandela's House is located at 8115 Vilakazi St, Orlando West, Soweto. There is parking available near the house, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

From the Bushveld central bus station, take a local bus or minibus taxi heading towards Soweto. These taxis are usually marked and wait near the station. Inform the driver that you are going to Vilakazi Street. The fare is relatively cheap, usually around R15-20. The taxi will drop you off near Vilakazi Street, and from there, it's a short walk to 8115 Vilakazi St where Mandela's House is located.
