Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head south from Cape Town along the M3 Highway. Continue on the M3 until it ends, which will merge into the M4 (also known as Main Road). Follow the M4 for about 20 kilometers. Look out for the signs directing you to Muizenberg as you approach. Turn left onto Beach Road (R310) and follow it until you reach Muizenberg Beach, located directly adjacent to the road. Parking is available along Beach Road but may incur costs, so be prepared with coins or a parking app.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    To reach Muizenberg Beach by train, start at the Cape Town Train Station. Purchase a ticket to Muizenberg on the Southern Line. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Muizenberg Station, exit the station and head towards the beach, which is about a 5-minute walk straight down the road.
