If you are driving, start from Cape Town and head south on the M3 highway. Follow the signs for Muizenberg and continue onto the M5. Merge onto the M64 (Chapman’s Peak Drive) for scenic coastal views. After passing through Hout Bay, continue on the M64 until you reach the R44. Turn left onto the R44 and follow the road until you reach Kommetjie. In Kommetjie, turn right onto Lighthouse Road. Slangkop Lighthouse will be on your right at 45 Lighthouse Rd. There is limited parking available near the lighthouse.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Slangkop Lighthouse by public transport, take the MyCiTi bus from Cape Town city center towards Hout Bay. Disembark at the Hout Bay terminus. From there, you will need to catch a taxi or a local bus heading to Kommetjie. Request to be dropped off at Kommetjie village. Once in Kommetjie, walk along Lighthouse Road; Slangkop Lighthouse is approximately a 15-minute walk from the village center. Please note that taxi fares may vary, and it's advisable to confirm the fare before your journey.
