Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Cape Town, take the M3 highway towards Muizenberg. Continue on the M3 until it becomes Boyes Drive, which offers stunning views of the coastline. Follow Boyes Drive, and eventually, you will merge onto the M4 (Main Road). Keep following the M4 until you reach Simon's Town. Once in Simon's Town, follow signs for Boulders Beach. There is a parking area available near the beach, but be mindful that parking may incur a fee of approximately R10 - R20.

  • Public Transport (Train)

    For public transport, take the Southern Line train from Cape Town to Simon's Town station. The journey takes about an hour and the train offers scenic views along the way. Once you arrive at Simon's Town station, exit and walk towards the main road. From there, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Boulders Beach, which is approximately 2 km away. Expect to pay around R10 - R30 for the taxi.
