Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying near the V&A Waterfront, start by heading north on Dock Road towards Alfred Mall. Continue onto Breakwater Blvd, then turn left onto the promenade. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the Nelson Mandela Boulevard. Cross the street and proceed straight onto Buitengracht Street. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach 181 Buitengracht St, Gardens, where AfroGem is located.

• Public Transport (MyCiTi Bus)

  If you are near the V&A Waterfront, take the MyCiTi bus from the V&A Waterfront station. Board the bus number 104 towards Gardens and stay on for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Gardens' stop. From there, walk north on Buitengracht Street for about 300 meters until you reach 181 Buitengracht St, Gardens, where AfroGem is located.

• Walking from Company’s Garden

  If you are visiting the Company's Garden, exit the garden and head east on Queen Victoria Street. Turn left onto Wale Street and continue until you reach Buitengracht Street. Turn right onto Buitengracht Street and walk for about 500 meters. AfroGem will be on your left at 181 Buitengracht St, Gardens.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Open your app and set your destination to '181 Buitengracht St, Gardens, Cape Town'. The driver will take you directly to AfroGem. This option is convenient if you are located further away or if you are carrying luggage.
