Public Transport (Bus)
From the Cape Town central bus terminal, take the City Sightseeing bus (Red Route) to Stellenbosch. The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the Stellenbosch bus stop, which is near the town center. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to Lavinia Cellars. To walk, head southeast on Plein Street towards Church Street, then turn left onto Church Street and follow it until you reach Polkadraai Road. Turn right onto Polkadraai Road, and you will find Lavinia Cellars on your left.

Train
Start at the Cape Town Train Station and take the Metrorail train towards Stellenbosch. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Stellenbosch Station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. You can either walk (about 25 minutes) or take a taxi to Lavinia Cellars. If walking, head east on Bird Street, then turn left onto Church Street. Follow Church Street until you reach Polkadraai Road, turn right, and Lavinia Cellars will be on your left.
