The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stellenbosch station, exit the train and head towards the bus stop located outside the station.

At the Stellenbosch bus stop, look for the local bus service that operates toward Koelenhof. Buses are usually marked with their destination. Ask the bus driver if they go to Bottelary Road or Koelenhof. The bus ride should take around 20 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Bottelary Road.

Walking
Once you’ve disembarked from the bus, you will need to walk to Hartenberg Wine Estate. Head northeast on Bottelary Road. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Hartenberg Wine Estate on your left. The estate is well-marked, and you can expect to arrive in about 20 minutes on foot.
