From the Cape Town city center, head to the Cape Town Bus Station. You can take the MyCiTi bus route 102 towards Stellenbosch. The bus will take you through the N1 highway. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the Stellenbosch bus station. From there, you can catch a local taxi (minibus) to Idasvallei. Inform the driver that you want to go to Rustenberg Road. The trip should take around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Rustenberg Road, follow the signs to Rustenberg Estate, which is a short walk from the taxi drop-off point.

Open the Uber app on your smartphone. Set your pickup location to your current location in Cape Town. In the destination field, enter 'Rustenburg Rd, Idasvallei, Stellenbosch, 7609'. From Cape Town, head to the Cape Town Train Station. Take the train towards Stellenbosch, which runs on the Southern Line. The train ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Stellenbosch station, exit the station and catch a local taxi (minibus) to Idasvallei. Tell the driver you want to go to Rustenberg Road. The taxi ride should only take about 10 minutes. After getting off, Rustenberg Estate will be within walking distance.
