Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the V&A Waterfront, walk towards the Clock Tower and head towards the Nelson Mandela Gateway. From there, follow the path towards the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Once you reach the CTICC, turn left onto the Lower Long Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Buitengracht Street. Turn right onto Buitengracht Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Somerset Road. Cross over Somerset Road and continue straight on Buitengracht Street, which will turn into Loop Street. Follow Loop Street until you reach the intersection with Long Street. Turn right onto Long Street and proceed until you reach the top of the street where it meets Kloof Street. Turn left onto Kloof Street and walk until you reach the top of the hill. From there, you will start seeing signs for Signal Hill. Follow the signs leading to Signal Hill, and you will eventually reach the Table Mountain Frame.

    To reach Signal Hill from the city center, you can take the MyCiTi bus. Head to the nearest MyCiTi bus stop and catch the bus heading towards Camps Bay. Get off at the 'Signal Hill' stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs pointing towards the Signal Hill viewpoint. The walk from the bus stop to the Table Mountain Frame is approximately 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the signs that will lead you directly to the frame.
