    Getting There

    Train

    If you are in Cape Town city center, head to the Cape Town Train Station. Purchase a ticket to Simon's Town on the Southern Line. The train ride takes about an hour and offers beautiful views along the way. Once you arrive at Simon's Town Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, St George's Street. Turn right and follow St George's Street until you reach the waterfront area. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Windmill Beach, which is approximately 10 minutes away.

    Bus

    From Cape Town city center, take the MyCiTi bus route that goes to Simon's Town. You can catch the bus at the Civic Centre bus station. Make sure to purchase a MyCiTi card beforehand. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Simon's Town terminal, you can walk towards the beach by following the signs to Windmill Beach. It will take you about 20 minutes on foot.

    Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Cape Town. Cycle along the scenic coastal route via the M6, heading towards Simon's Town. It's about a 40 km ride that will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Simon's Town, follow the signs to Windmill Beach, which is a short ride away from the town center.
