Once you arrive at Simon's Town, look for minibus taxis that have 'Cape Point' or 'Cape of Good Hope' displayed. The fare is quite economical. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cape Point. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

After entering the Cape Point Nature Reserve, you will have to walk to the Old Cape Point Lighthouse. Follow the signs that lead to the lighthouse. The path is well-marked, but be prepared for a steep ascent. The walk is about 1.2 km (about 0.75 miles) and offers breathtaking views of the ocean and landscape.
