Getting There

  • Walking from Cape Town Central

    Starting from the Cape Town Central Train Station, exit the station and head towards Adderley Street. Walk along Adderley Street until you reach the intersection with Darling Street. Turn left onto Darling Street and continue walking straight. You will see the Castle of Good Hope on your right at the intersection of Darling Street and Buitenkant Street. It will take approximately 15 minutes to walk this distance.

  • Public Transport (MyCiTi Bus)

    If you are near the MyCiTi bus routes, take the bus towards the Civic Centre. Board the bus at any MyCiTi stop and disembark at the Civic Centre Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Darling Street. Turn left onto Darling Street and walk straight until you reach the Castle of Good Hope, which will be on your right at the corner of Buitenkant Street. This journey will take around 20-30 minutes depending on bus frequency.
