Walking
Start at the East London city center. Head southeast on Oxford Street towards the East London Museum. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade and walk along the beachfront for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the East London Aquarium on your left. Continue walking until you reach the Nahoon River mouth. From here, follow the path that leads you along the river towards the Nahoon Estuary Nature Reserve, which is well signposted.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the East London city center, locate the nearest bus station (usually near the East London Museum). Take a bus that is heading towards Nahoon. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the Nahoon Estuary Nature Reserve stop. Once you get off, follow the signs to the entrance of the reserve, which is a short walk away.

Rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop in East London. Start at the East London city center and head southeast on Oxford Street. Turn left onto the Esplanade and cycle along the beachfront. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Nahoon River mouth. Follow the cycle path along the river, which will lead you directly to the Nahoon Estuary Nature Reserve. There are bike racks available at the entrance for secure parking.
