Start your journey at the East London city center. Head to the East London Taxi Rank located on the corner of Oxford and Fleet streets. Take a minibus taxi heading towards Mdantsane. Inform the driver you are going to the closest drop-off point for Tobashana Falls. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to the falls. Follow the dirt road leading towards the nature area. Look for signs indicating the direction towards Tobashana Falls, keeping the river to your right.

If you find yourself in the suburb of Nahoon, you can start your walk from Nahoon Beach. Head northwest on the R72 towards East London. After about 2 kilometers, take a left turn onto the gravel road leading to the nature area. Follow this road for about 4 kilometers until you reach Tobashana Falls.
