Car
If you are traveling by car to Maboneng Precinct, start by heading towards the M1 highway. If you are in Johannesburg, find your way to the M1 via Jan Smuts Avenue or any connecting road. Once on the M1, head south towards the City. Take the exit towards the M2 East and keep following signs for 'City' and 'Maboneng.' After exiting, merge onto Albertina Sisulu Road, then turn left onto Fox Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at the intersection of Fox Street and Kruger Street, where Maboneng Precinct is located. Look for parking areas nearby, as street parking can be limited. Make sure to check for parking fees and hours.
Public Transportation
For public transportation to Maboneng Precinct, your best option is to use the Gautrain service. If you are near a Gautrain station, take the Gautrain towards Park Station in Johannesburg. Once you arrive at Park Station, exit the station and head towards the Bree Street taxi rank. From there, take a minibus taxi that has 'Maboneng' or 'Fox Street' written on it. The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. If you prefer walking, you can also walk from Park Station to Maboneng Precinct, which is about a 20-minute stroll. Just head east on Plein Street, turn left onto Fox Street, and continue until you reach the intersection with Kruger Street.
