Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Johannesburg, take the N14 highway toward Krugersdorp. Exit at the R541 (Kromdraai Road) and follow the signs for Kromdraai. Continue on Kromdraai Road (R540) for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see the entrance to NIROX Sculpture Park on your left. There is parking available on-site, but it may incur a small fee, typically around R20.

• Public Transportation

  To reach NIROX Sculpture Park via public transport, you can take a Gautrain train from Johannesburg to the Krugersdorp station. From the Krugersdorp station, you can catch a taxi or rideshare service directly to the park for approximately R150 to R200 depending on the service. The taxi ride should take around 20-30 minutes. Please check the Gautrain schedule for operating times as services may vary.

• Taxi/Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Bolt from anywhere in Gauteng directly to NIROX Sculpture Park. Input the address R540 Kromdraai Rd, Kromdraai, Krugersdorp in the app. Fares typically range from R150 to R300 depending on your starting point and the time of day. This is a convenient option, especially if you are traveling in a group.

• Combination (Car and Public Transport)

  For those not comfortable with long public transport rides, you can take a Gautrain to the nearest station and then rent a car from there. Once you arrive at the Krugersdorp Gautrain station, rent a vehicle and head toward Kromdraai using the R540. This allows for greater flexibility and the ability to explore the surrounding areas at your own pace. Rental costs vary, but expect to pay around R300 to R600 per day.
