Getting There

• Car

  From any point within Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, head towards the park exit. Follow the signs leading you to the N2 highway. Once you reach the N2, turn left (south) and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the exit to R618 towards Hluhluwe. Take this exit and continue on R618 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Hluhluwe. Once in Hluhluwe, turn left onto Bushlands Road. Dumazulu Cultural Village & Lodge is located on Lot H29 along this road, approximately 2 kilometers down on your right.

• Public Transportation

  If you are relying on public transportation, your first step is to take a minibus taxi from Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park to the town of Hluhluwe. These taxis are generally available near the park entrance. Once you arrive in Hluhluwe, you may need to arrange a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Dumazulu Cultural Village & Lodge. Inform the driver that you are going to Lot H29 on Bushlands Road, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the town center.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider biking from Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park to Dumazulu Cultural Village & Lodge. Start by exiting the park and heading towards the N2 highway. From the N2, take the R618 exit towards Hluhluwe. The distance is approximately 25 kilometers, so be prepared for a moderate ride. Once in Hluhluwe, follow the directions to Bushlands Road, where you will find the lodge. Ensure you have adequate safety gear and water for the trip.
