Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Kimberley, start at the Kimberley Railway Station. From the railway station, head south on the main road, which is called Stockdale Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Circular Road. Turn left onto S Circular Road and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to The Big Hole. The viewing platform will be on your right.

    From the Kimberley Railway Station, you can take a local taxi or shuttle service. Ask the driver to take you to The Big Hole. Once you arrive, you'll be dropped off near the entrance to the viewing platform. It’s a short walk to the actual viewing area from the drop-off point.

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start at the central area of Kimberley and head south on Stockdale Street.
