Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Kimberley Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the main road, 3rd Avenue. After approximately 600 meters, turn left onto Jan Smuts Boulevard. Continue walking along Jan Smuts Boulevard for about 1.2 kilometers. You will pass the Civic Centre on your left. Oppenheimer Gardens will be on your left side, just after the Civic Centre. Look for the entrance to the park.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Kimberley Bus Terminal, board a local bus heading towards the Civic Centre. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Jan Smuts Boulevard. Once you disembark, walk towards the Civic Centre, and Oppenheimer Gardens will be directly adjacent to it on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the Kimberley city center. Head east on 1st Avenue, then turn left onto Jan Smuts Boulevard. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Oppenheimer Gardens will be on your left, just past the Civic Centre. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
