After approximately 50 km, you will reach the town of Tzaneen. Continue on the R71 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with the R36. Turn left onto the R36 and continue for another 30 km until you reach the turnoff for the R527. Turn right onto the R527 and follow the signs for Makutsi Game Reserve. The reserve is located approximately 20 km down this road. Look for the entrance, which will be clearly marked. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, as the last stretch may require it.
