Getting There

    If you are driving from Rustenburg, head west on the R24 towards Koster. After about 60 km, turn left onto the R49 towards Madikwe Game Reserve. Continue on the R49 for approximately 30 km until you reach the entrance to Madikwe Game Reserve. Follow the signs to Tau Game Lodge located inside the reserve. Note that an entrance fee to the reserve may be applicable.

    Traveling from Pretoria, take the N4 highway towards Rustenburg. After about 90 km, take the exit for the R47 towards Koster. Follow the R47 until it merges into the R49. Continue on the R49 for approximately 30 km until you reach Madikwe Game Reserve. Once inside the reserve, follow the signs to Tau Game Lodge. Entrance fees may apply.

    For those using public transport, take a bus from Pretoria or Johannesburg to Zeerust. From Zeerust, you will need to arrange a taxi to Madikwe Game Reserve, which is about 40 km away.
