If you're starting from the Silver Lakes Golf Estate, exit the estate and head south on Silver Lakes Drive. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the N4 highway. Cross over the highway using the pedestrian bridge. Once you are on the other side, turn left onto Lynwood Road and continue for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Groenkloof. When you reach the corner of Wenning St and Broderick St, you will find Jan Cilliers Park on your right.

From the center of Silver Lakes, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop if available. Exit the Silver Lakes estate and head south down Silver Lakes Drive. Follow the same route as walking: after about 1.5 kilometers, cross over the N4 highway using the pedestrian bridge. Once across, take a left onto Lynwood Road and cycle for about 2 kilometers.
