If you're traveling by car, start from the Sani Pass Hotel, which is a well-known landmark. From the hotel, head south on the Sani Pass road (R617) for about 6 kilometers. Look for a small unmarked road on your left; this will lead you closer to Spring Waterfall and Baboon Cave. The road is not well maintained, so proceed with caution. After approximately 2 kilometers on this unmarked road, you will find a parking area near Spring Waterfall.

Hiking
If you prefer to hike to Spring Waterfall and Baboon Cave, start at the Sani Pass Hotel. From there, take the Sani Pass trail, which is a popular route. The hike is moderately challenging, and it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Spring Waterfall. Ensure you have good hiking shoes and enough water. Once you reach the waterfall, Baboon Cave is a short 15-minute hike further up the hill, marked by a rocky outcrop.

Public transportation options are limited in Sani Pass. However, you can take a local taxi from nearby towns such as Himeville or Underberg to Sani Pass.
