Car
If you are driving from the main area of Table Mountain National Park, head southeast on Tafelberg Road. Continue on this road until you reach the M3 highway. Take the M3 towards Cape Town. After about 15 minutes, take the exit towards Main Road/Observatory. Merge onto Main Road and follow it for approximately 2.5 kilometers. The Heart of Cape Town Museum will be located on your right at Groote Schuur Hospital, Main Rd, Observatory, Cape Town, 7925. Parking is available nearby, but please check for any parking fees.

From Table Mountain National Park, locate the nearest MyCiTi bus stop (you may need to take a short taxi ride to get to the nearest bus stop). Take the MyCiTi bus towards Civic Centre and get off at the Observatory stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Heart of Cape Town Museum.
