Getting There

    From the main entrance of Table Mountain National Park, make your way to the M62 road heading towards Hout Bay. Follow the M62 until you reach the intersection with the M3 highway. Merge onto the M3 and continue until you see signs for Hout Bay. Take the exit for Hout Bay and continue straight onto the Main Road (M5) which will eventually become Valley Road. Follow Valley Road for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park, located on your right at Valley Rd, Hout Bay, Cape Town, 7806. There is parking available on-site.

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking a MyCiTi bus from the nearest station in Table Mountain National Park. You will need to catch the bus heading towards Hout Bay. The bus ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Hout Bay, disembark at the bus stop closest to Main Road. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Valley Road. The sanctuary is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, or you can catch a local taxi for a small fee (around ZAR 20-30) to reach the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park.
