Walking
From the center of Camps Bay, head south on Victoria Road (also known as R44). Walk along the beachfront promenade for approximately 1 kilometer, enjoying the scenic views of the ocean and mountains. As you approach the Bakoven area, you will notice a slight curve in the road. Continue walking until you reach Kreef Lane, which is a small street that leads to Bakoven Beach. Turn left onto Kreef Lane and walk for about 200 meters until you arrive at the beach.

If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch the MyCiTi bus from Camps Bay. Locate the nearest bus stop on Victoria Road, and take the bus heading towards Hout Bay. You will need to get off at the 'Bakoven' bus stop. From there, walk back along Victoria Road for about 100 meters, then turn left onto Kreef Lane. Continue walking for about 200 meters to reach Bakoven Beach. Be sure to check the bus schedule for times and fares, as costs may vary.
