Car
If you are driving from central Bela-Bela, head southwest on Church Street towards the R101 highway. Continue on the R101 for about 12 km until you reach a turnoff for the R516 road. Turn left onto the R516 and follow the signs for Waterberg. After approximately 15 km, you will see signs for Bambelela Wildlife Care and Vervet Monkey Rehabilitation. Turn left at the sign and follow the dirt road for about 2 km until you reach the entrance. There is no entrance fee, but donations are appreciated.

To reach Bambelela using public transport, first take a taxi or shuttle service from Bela-Bela to the nearest main road, the R101. From there, you may need to arrange a private taxi to take you the remaining distance to Bambelela, as public transport options are limited directly to the facility. Expect to pay approximately R100-150 for the taxi ride, depending on your negotiation skills and time of day.

For those who are already nearby, you can walk to Bambelela from Bela-Bela town. It is about a 10 km walk along the R101, which may take approximately 2 hours.
