Car
If you're driving from the center of Richards Bay, head southwest on the R34 towards the N2 highway. Merge onto the N2 highway heading north towards Durban. Continue on the N2 for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Enseleni Nature Reserve, which is located on the left side of the highway (3901 N2, Neerensee). The entrance is marked and easily accessible from the highway. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the reserve.

To reach Enseleni Nature Reserve using public transport, start by taking a local taxi or minibus from Richards Bay to the N2 highway. Inform the driver that you are heading to Enseleni Nature Reserve. Upon reaching the N2, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the reserve, as local transport may not drop you directly at the entrance. Be prepared to pay for the taxi fare, which is usually around 20-30 ZAR per person, and an entrance fee to the reserve once you arrive.
